Aromatherapy is the therapeutic use of plant-derived, aromatic essential oils to promote physical and psychological well-being. During an Aromatherapy massage, essential oils are chosen to suit your condition or needs, or to the preference of the recipient. Essential oils are added to a base massage oil. They are never used undiluted on the skin and you will never be asked to ingest an oil. It is important to let the therapist know if you are allergic to any plants or nuts or seeds. The style of massage performed is known as Swedish Massage or Relaxation Massage.
Natalia is qualified to perform Pregnancy Massage during all 3 trimesters of pregnancy. A more in-depth analysis is performed before the massage begins. As pregnancy is a special time in people's lives, focus is spent on ensuring the health of the mum-to-be and the unborn baby. Pregnancy massage can be performed either side lying or with the recipient lying on their front and back, using a special pregnancy massage table.
For the second and third trimester, a select range of essential oils, that are safe to use during pregnancy, can be added to the massage.
Kahuna Lomi Lomi Massage (for women only)
This is a beautiful healing and spiritual massage practiced by native Hawaiians for hundreds of years. Hawaiian Temple Bodywork, or Lomi Lomi Nui (the great massage) is an ancient and distinctive form of Lomi Lomi practiced by the Hawaiian sharman or 'kahuna' in the temples of Hawaii as a sacred rite of passage. This art has been passed down by shamanic teachers committed to sharing their knowledge of this sacred tradition.
With heated coconut oil, Hawaiian music playing, a heated room, ritual pray (pule), feet washing and sarongs in place of towels, this 90 minute massage covers the full length of the body with long flowing strokes that go from feet to head and return, as well as under body work. Forearms are used instead of hands only. The client is covered with only a sarong for modesty.
This massage technique is designed to release anything that is no longer in alignment with the client's highest truth and allows the body and soul to release, transform and allow the infusion of Divine energy.
